As part of the Juneteenth Block Party celebration, our team was honored to provide paid haircut services while helping connect community members with valuable health resources. Guests had access to free health screenings including blood pressure readings, blood glucose checks, and medication consultations provided by healthcare professionals from UC Davis Health.
This partnership represents the type of impact that both World Class Faders and World Class Stylers strive to create throughout Sacramento. While barber shops and salons are traditionally known for grooming services, we believe they can also serve as trusted community hubs where education, wellness, culture, and personal development intersect.
Through collaborations like this, we are able to help bridge the gap between healthcare providers and community members in a welcoming environment that encourages conversations about health, wellness, and preventative care.
